This past Memorial Day weekend, my wife and I attended a family friend's wedding in Michigan. A good time was had by all, but in all the commotion, my blogging abilities were severely hampered. On Monday, we made the 9 hour drive back to Baltimore. Well, wouldn't you know it, but Monday was also our one year wedding anniversary (great right, spend the weekend at somebody else's wedding and spend your anniversary driving? It's a good thing we like each other and enjoy car trips together because that doesn't exactly fit the description of my ideal 1 year anniversary celebration).
My lovely wife has been incredibly supportive of my card collecting exploits to date, even if she doesn't understand them entirely. She likes opening packs, she humors me when I show her a new card and she even reads my blog. As part of my gift to her, I left the site post-less yesterday and left my fantasy baseball teams untended last night so we could enjoy the remainder of our evening.
So now, with this weekend behind us, the old apartment 90% moved out of and clean-ish and life starting to settle down, I am back in the saddle. I have about a dozen packages to go through and post about, and some progress on my Series 2 Dilemma to report (hint: it involves going full steam ahead). I may get to some of it tonight, some of it tomorrow and the rest interspersed over the rest of the week.
So thanks for sticking with me, and I assure many many new card pictures to come in the days ahead.
